Clallam Transit, McKnickle
The Zero Fare Transit just can’t stop harassing the immediate residents at the unlawful stop at the alley corner between W 4th and 5th St nor cease creating life threatening situations.
January 20 2026 Zero Fare #608 had made several unauthorized, unlawful stops to disembark Zero Fare Riders at that unmarked intersection of which to provide personal Uber type service to it’s Zero Fare Riders but again forces vehicular traffic to avoid extremely dangerous situations.
That stop, of which is continuing, apparently at the blessing of it’s General Manager(s) and Board Members was never approved or gone through any regulatory process including input from surrounding neighbors.
WA ST Requirements
ADA Accessibility Standards: All bus stops must meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for boarding and alighting areas. Even without a shelter, the stop must have a firm, stable surface (typically a concrete pad) at least 5 feet wide by 8 feet deep and a clear path of travel to existing sidewalks.
Local Jurisdiction Permits: Transit agencies do not have unilateral authority to place signs on any street. They must obtain Right-of-Way (ROW) use permits from the local municipality (e.g., City of Seattle) or county. This ensures the stop does not interfere with private driveways, utilities, or residential sightlines.
Traffic Engineering Review: The placement is subject to review by local traffic engineers to ensure safety at intersections and prevent the bus from blocking critical traffic flow in narrow residential streets.
WSDOT Transit Stop Permits: If the residential street is classified as a "managed access" highway or is under state jurisdiction, a specific Transit Stop Permit is required from the Washington State Department of Transportation.
RCW 9.91.025

(a) "Transit station" or "transit facility" means all passenger facilities, structures, stops, shelters, bus zones, properties, and rights-of-way of all kinds that are owned, leased, held, or used by a transit authority for the purpose of providing public transportation services.

Zero Fare Clallam Transit Still Harassing
Below is yet another complaint to The Zero Fare Clallam Transit, you know, the one that allows vicious dogs to board and harass residents in quiet neighborhoods and of course, all for free thanks to The Loony Liberals residing at The Port Angeles City Council including Kate Dexter whom sits on her big fat smelly worthless DEI Woke HE/She/It/Whatever ass passing taxes on the very same residents that are continually harassed by The Zero Fare Transit and it’s Zero Fare Riders and of which she is also a Board Member.
Attached here is also just one or two photos of the life threatening situation The Crazy Zero Fare Drivers cause so to provide Uber type service to their Zero Fare Riders. The Complaint is self explanatory, apparently The Zero Fare Riders also expect to not have to walk more than a few feet even if the marked, approved stop is just a block up the road but is yet just too far for what The Zero Fare Low Lives expect.
The one photo is of a Zero Fare Rider plopping his worthless ass down on private property scaring the hell out of private property owners and just a small fraction of the harassment The Zero Fare Transit is causing.
